He is a performer from the choreographer Marlene Monteiro Freitas since 2013 from which he was a part in the creation and interpretation of the pieces:

He has colaborated with the contemporary music ensembles: “Les Percussions des Strasbourg”, “Hemiptera”, “Sond’arte electric ensemble”, “ensemble mpmp”, “epoch f”, “Concréte Lab Ensemble” and “Coletivo Pedro Carneiro”. He has also commissioned, premiered and recorded together with the percussionist Miguel Filipe a double percussion concerto for wind orchestra from the composer João Madureira and Daniel Davis.
In 2019 he had his premier as a creator with his solo “desabafo” being selected as emerging talent from the center for research and information of portuguese music.
In 2022, in the centenary of the composer Iannis Xenakis, he premiered his piece “Transformer l’Homme” for percussion, choir, spacialized eletronic music and light installation that premiered in the main hall of the Foundation Calouste Gulbenkian in Lisbon. For the creation of the piece he collaborated with Pierre Carré (IRCAM), Francisco Cipiriano and Pedro Tavares (percussion), Coro Gulbenkian, Mâkhi Xenakis (Les amis des Xenakis), Benôit Gibson (musicology) and the Gulbenkian Foundation. In 2023 he was invited by Gulbenkian’s Contemporary Art Museum to coordinate portuguese percussionists to perform with the ensemble “Les Percussions des Strasbourg” in the piece “100 cymbals” from Ryoji Ikeda.
In 2024 he continues is collaboration with sound artist Pierre Carré in a performance connecting Membranes, from the percussion instruments to the loudspeakers, which will premier in 2025.
He has been transcribing Bach keyboard Music to marimba since 2016 and is now working on adapting the “Clavier-Übung 1” for the instrument. Because of his research he often performs solo recitals with the music of Bach and Xenakis.
